Virgin Witch - Virgin Witch 7” (2010)
Members of Pulling Teeth (East Coast) and Skin Like Iron (West Coast) join forces to release something so evil that everything between the Pacific and Atlantic will be drenched in black nothingness. This release, on the preferred vinyl format, is limited to 666 copies. One side has two tracks engraved in the grooves, the other side: a silkscreened goat trapped in a pentagram. (Candles and virgins are sold separately.)
The first song, “Nail of Dicara,” three minutes of slow-as-constipated-shit doom, is gifted with vocalist Alex Capasso, providing his raspy forked screams. You’ll feel crushed under the weight of six feet of rotting soil. But, don’t despair, the faster “Sight Beyond Sight” rushes in, with a faster paced metal groove to resurrect you from your premature slumber. And, as you begin to feel emancipated from the past three minutes of brooding sorrow, a guitar solo swoops in! The type of guitar solo that makes you titty fuck Lucifer and wipe the black ejaculate around the circumference of Jesus’ holy asshole.
The gnarled and wretched, making an early appearance in twenty ten.
