I saw Troll 2 last night at an outside projector showing, the lauded “best-worst movie of all time”. It cost $9, but I watched from outside a gate, on the sidewalk. Lots of hilarity, the above-pictured goblin’s face made me laugh every time it was shown. There was a q&a afterwards with a few of the actors (characters: Michael Waits, Joshua Waits, and Arnold whom had the infamous line, “They’re eating her… and then they’re going to eat me… OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!”) Lots of the questions were phrased similar to as, “Do you realize how fucking awful this movie is?” which stunk of dickitude. They know the movie was bad, but they don’t need to be told so by some random-20-something-Williamsburger. I was pretty happy with my question into the microphone: “I was just curious what you thought Troll 2’s implications on vegetarianism were, and, if the movie has helped or hindered the vegetarian movement.” Right after my question someone sitting in the front row yelled, “How was the sandwich!” The sandwich was discussed but none of my questions answered…oh well. I’m not sure which is better between Troll 2 and The Room though. Hmm!
